Congratulations..!!! Finally the much awaited wait is over. BSNL has finally decided to go ahead with resolution of SDE 2007 reversal issue.
As first step, orders for reversion have been withdrawn.
The file for restoration of seniority and approval of supplementary DPC is under submission. We are trying to ensure the final promotion orders at the earliest.
Finally AIGETOA and the team of the affected persons have succeeded in its mission and we will try to ensure the final fruits in the form of promotion orders immediately.
We are refraining from uploading the order copies due to legal considerations.
GS AIGETOA once again reminds management for honoring its commitment for extending the laptop reimbursement facility for the field units and request for immediate extension of this facility to all the field units.
It is understood that BSNL has achieved the installation of 50000 Indigenous 4G Sites today.
GS AIGETOA congratulated CMD BSNL and management on achieving this important milestone.
WE SINCERELY HOPE THAT FULL FLEDGED ROLL OUT OF 4G/5G SERVICES OF BSNL BECOMES A REALITY SOON.
AIGETOA has consistently been highlighting the issues being faced in roll-out and Maan Network before management. Recently GS AIGETOA highlighted the major issues faced by BSNL in its 4G roll-out and the various problems associated with MAAN. As a consequence, many important instructions/strictures have been given to the vendors for corrective action.
In another major development, it is understood that the vendor of the MAAN has assured BSNL that corrective actions with respect to the issues being faced in MAAN is being taken expeditiously and it is expected that issues being faced shall be resolved in next few days. We request all the executives to keep us updated about the issues faced so that the same can be highlighted well in time before management for corrective action.
We are happy to note that management is responsive to the issues being highlighted by association and the corrective actions and necessary directions are being passed on to the concerned to resolve the issues.
We understand that with cooperation and togetherness, BSNL will achieve the target of roll-out 1 lakh 4G sites very soon.
General Secretaries of SNEA, AIGETOA and AIBSNLEA jointly signed the memorandum to CMD BSNL to implement the concept of “One PSU One Association“ in BSNL in line with other CPSUs.
It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you of the sudden and untimely passing of Shri K. S. Sheshadri, Deputy General Secretary of NFTE (BSNL). He left us unexpectedly this morning at 4:00 am at Jhansi Medical College. Shri Sheshadri was traveling by train to Delhi to attend the Wage Revision Committee meeting scheduled for 3:00 pm on 23rd October 2024. During the journey, before reaching Jhansi, he experienced severe discomfort. The railway personnel assisted him out of the coach and took him to Jhansi Medical College and Hospital, where he sadly breathed his last at around 4:00 AM.
AIGETOA CHQ prays to the almighty to provide his family with sufficient strength and courage to tide over the crisis and for bearing this irreparable loss. We also pray so that the eternal soul rests in peace.

The logo was launched by the Honorable Union Minister of Communications and Development of the North-East Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M Scindia, alongside the Honorable Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development, Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar. The event, hosted at Bharat Sanchar Bhavan, also saw the presence of senior officials from the Department of Telecommunications, BSNL, and other key industry stakeholders.

Security Initiatives
• Spam! Free Network: BSNL has rolled out an automatic spam-blocking solution that filters out phishing attempts and malicious SMS. This initiative ensures a safer communication environment without the need for constant alerts, providing users with seamless and secure interactions.
Affordability Initiatives
• BSNL National Wi-Fi Roaming: This first-of-its-kind seamless Wi-Fi roaming service enables high-speed internet access for BSNL’s FTTH customers at various hotspots, eliminating extra charges and minimizing data costs.
• BSNL IFTV: BSNL launches India’s first fiber-based intranet TV service, offering over 500 live channels and Pay TV to FTTH subscribers at no additional cost, with data usage not counted against their FTTH data packs.
• Any Time SIM (ATS) Kiosks: BSNL introduces automated SIM kiosks that allow customers to purchase, upgrade, port, or replace SIM cards anytime, utilizing UPI/QR-enabled payments and multi-lingual access, all while ensuring seamless KYC integration.
Reliability Initiatives
• Direct-to-Device Service: India’s first Direct-to-Device (D2D) connectivity solution merges satellite and terrestrial mobile networks for uninterrupted communication, especially crucial in emergencies and isolated areas, supporting UPI payments even in remote locations.
• Public Protection & Disaster Relief: BSNL has developed a secure, scalable network for disaster response, providing guaranteed encrypted communication for government and relief agencies during crises. This innovative network design, supported by drone and balloon-based systems, ensures continuous connectivity during emergencies.
• First Private SG in Mines: Partnering with C-DAC, BSNL introduces reliable, low-latency connectivity for mining operations, utilizing Made-in-India equipment. This service enhances advanced AI and IoT applications, ensuring safety and operational efficiency in underground and opencast mines.
