AIGETOA CTD has arranged a free health camp and medical check-up for all the employees of CTD on 31st May 2023, on the day of its office room inauguration.

The response of this occasion was overwhelming. Executives and non-executives of different unions/associations have participated in this event and availed the medical services.

Respected CGM CTD sir had inaugurated this medical camp and was the first person to avail all the tests with positive enthusiasm.

The camps was conducted by Suraksha Diagnostics, Kothari Medical Centre and Centre for Sight. The following tests was offered,

The Annual General Meeting of AIGETOA Chennai was successfully conducted on 10.03.2023. All India President Shri Veerabhadra Rao, Joint Secretary (South) Shri S Suresh Kumar, CHQ Advisor Shri K Senthil Kumar and CHQ OS Shri Nithya Jarald attended and graced the occasion. CGM Chennai and PGM HR were unable to attend the AGM due to last moment meeting. They have conveyed their wishes to our CS Shri Uma Chandran. AIP Shri Veerabhadra Rao and JS (South) Shri S. Suresh Kumar addressed the gathering and briefed the house about the current status of various issue taken by CHQ with the management.

The event started off with the Lighting of the Lamp by the AIP and also by AGM Smt Vasantha and Padmavathi marking the Women’s Day celebration as well.

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Shri T Narender CS Telangana Circle, Shri M Madhava Rao Chairman TS Circle, DP HTD Shri Ashok, DS HTD Shri GVVN Sateesh, CFS Shri Munibabu, ACSs Shri B baburao & Shri Kalyan Kumar, CVP Shri Veeresh, DFS Shri Anand, ADSs, DVPs, OS of HTD, other units DSs and DPs and other Union leaders Shri Rajaram, CS SEWA Telangana, DS Shri Anjaneyulu HTD Telangana, DS NFTE Shri Muthu, DS BSNLEU Shri Sushil and members of AIGETOA HTD.

After the inauguration, the meeting was open for discussion on various topics of concern to the members. Discussion held on E1+5 increments, Standard Pay Scales, EPF full pension, Promotions in various cadre & Pay Revision etc., AIP replied to all the above and assured the members of full support of the CHQ in raising their issues with the management.

Team AIGETOA Punjab Circle comprising Circle President Sh Vikas Gupta, Asst Circle Secretary Sh Narinder Kumar, Asst Circle Secretary Sh Vivek Asthana, District Secretary Nodal-Center Sh Ajit Singh and District President Nodal-Center Sh Anurag Parkash met Sh Sandeep Govil Director (CM) BSNL Board on his maiden visit to Chandigarh on 25.02.2023 to review Indigenous 4G launch.

Team welcomed him and congratulated him on assuming the high office of Director CM Team had brief discussion on various issues including 4G roll out, VAS bundling issue, increase in SAB contribution, Pay scale issues, Promotion in all cadres, Payment of GTI and GHI by BSNL. He gave patient hearing to our issues and assured to look into them. Team also submitted a memorandum to Director (CM).

The 4th Circle Conference of BSNL Executive’s Recognized Majority Association – All India Graduate Engineers and Telecom Officers Association, Rajasthan Circle was inaugurated by distinguished guests Sh. Sandeep Govil, Director (Consumer Mobility), BSNL Board and Sh Sanjay Kumar Chief General Manager BSNL Rajasthan Telecom Circle at Vesta Palace, Bikaner, Rajasthan. The program commenced with lightening of the lamp by distinguished guests of the conference. The function was presided over by Sh Aditya Vijayvargiya, Circle President, The theme of Open session was – ”Human Capital of BSNL- The Unsung Warrior of revival and survival.″

Elaborate Speeches/Deliberations were made highlighting the role played by BSNL Employees the unsung warriors of BSNL, in the revival and survival of BSNL. Distinguished Guests, Sh Sandeep Govil, Director CM BSNL Board, Sh. Sanjay Kumar (Chief General Manager, BSNL Rajasthan), Sh Ashok Maheshwari (General Manager, BA Head, BSNL Bikaner, Sh. G. Veera Bhadra Rao (All India President AIGETOA CHQ), Sh Pavan Akhand (General Secretary AIGETOA CHQ), Sh Ravi Shil Verma, (All India Chairman AIGETOA CHQ). The meeting was attended by Collegium Members, Office bearers and other delegates of AIGETOA Rajasthan Circle.

In Afternoon session Sh P N Sharma, Circle Secretary, AIGETOA Rajasthan presented the Working Report and Shri Praveen Kumar Sharma Circle Finance Secretary AIGETOA Rajasthan presented the Financial Report and the house unanimously accepted the reports. Subsequently, the existing Circle body was dissolved by Circle president Sh Aditya Vijayvargiya and the house was handed over to Returning Officer Shri Puneet Kaushik and Asst Returning Officer Sh Ritesh Kumar Gupta, CHQ Observer were Sh Sunil Gautam (Astt. General Secretary-V) and Sh Yogendra Kumar (Astt. General Secretary-VI, AIGETOA CHQ).

On 3rd Feb, 2023, Team AIGETOA Nagpur lead by Shri Ashish Jain (CP MH), Shri Sandeep Shende (DP Nagpur), Shri Praveen Kamble (DS Nagpur), Shri Vijay Modak (DT Nagpur), Shri Prafull Yenorkar ADS and Shri Rajesh Kadbe VP CNTX-Nagpur met Director HR on his visit to Nagpur BA.

Team welcomed Director HR on his visit to Nagpur BA and held a prolonged in-depth discussion with him on the following issues:

Superannuation Benefits, SAB :

Team expressed our deep concern over inadequate initiation on our SAB issues. Team apprised him of the insecurity being felt among BRs i.r.o. terminal benefits.

Director HR opined that although there has been infusion of funds from Government of India but that cannot be diverted for SAB since it is to be invested for rolling out 4G & other new services. Thus it may 2-3 years to solve this issue fully as per AIGETOA demand.

Shri Ashish Jain opined that the concerns of BRs regarding SAB should not be overlooked since it pertains to the financial welfare of dependents. Shri Sandeep Shende pointed out that the Management should look holistically over the SAB issues and stepwise actions should be initiated in that direction to win the confidence of BRs.

Director HR noted these issues and assured that necessary corrective measures will be initiated.

Increase in Medical entitlement amount in BSNLMRS :

Presently the funds allotted for BSNLMRS entitlement is for 15 days of Basic + DA. We objected that such insufficient allocation of funds may be raised to 23-25 days which will enable the executives to meet the financial expenses arising out of treatment of aged parents & dependents.

Director HR appreciated our initiative in this regard and made a note of it and assured that this matter will be resolved soon.

General Term Insurance & Group Health Insurance:

We apprised Director HR that since the financial condition of BSNL is improving gradually, the Mgmt. should bear the expenses for GTI & GHI premium of employees. We reminded him that welfare measures for employees is the responsibility of the organization which they should look into.

Director HR held constructive views on this idea and stated that he empathizes the concern of AIGETOA and will do needful for this.

Post Recruitment Medical Benefits, PRMB :

The PRMB issues were also raised during the discussion. We held that the PRMB benefits should be constructive and in tune with the time, since the BRs would be financially embarrassed if SAB, pension and other post retirement issues aren’t addresses. Thus PRMB if expanded will lessen the burden of employees.

Director HR noted this issue and said he’ll study the need and necessity of PRMB and hold talks with us then. He made a note of all the genuine issues raised by us and assured that positive and constructive outcome will surely be arrived soon.

We expressed our gratitude to him for patient listening and positive attitude for resolution of genuine demands of BRs.
