AIGETOA writes for approval of Standard Scale & Extension of E2 to all JTOs and JAOs equivalent grade

AIGETOA writes for approval of Standard Scale and extension of E2 to all JTOs and JAOs equivalent grade. It is important to note that BSNL has recruited and promoted young & qualified JTOs/JAOs post 2K7 but continuing them in lowest Scale E1. It is inflicting severe losses to these young officers recruited/promoted post 2K7 including LICE and GATE JTOs and JAOs joined BSNL in recent years. They are facing serious losses on account of being placed in E1 Scale and thousands of them, who got recruited post 2K10 are getting initial basic of just Rs 16400/-.

AIGETOA warned that the situation has completely infuriated these young executives and needs immediate solution of their standard Pay Scale E2, else the industrial unrest is bound to happen and the association will fight for the cause.

So, we invite your concerns and suggestion with specific points (if any) to be raised in the meeting other than the submitted agenda points. You may submit your observation and suggestions in the Google sheet enclosed. We are looking for constructive feedback in this regard.

AIGETOA writes to the CMD BSNL for immediate deposit of the pending SAB amount

AIGETOA once again raised the matter of the SAB Pension Fund to make it updated, whose payment is pending since April, 2020. It was strongly raised that due to delayed payment of the SAB Pension fund, interest of the intervening period is not given by LIC and hence management should make the payment of all due amount along with the interest for SAB Pension Fund of BSNL Recruited employees. It is shocking to note that not even a single Pension Case started under “SAB Trust Rules of BSNL” despite to the fact that thousand of BSNL Recruited Employees (Few Executives and mostly Non Executives) took VRS in Jan-2020 (more than a year before) on the call of government and most of them were entitled for SAB Pension. On the other hand entire machinery of BSNL was put on job to settle Pension Cases of DoT absorbed VRS opted employees, which again shows sheer discrimination by the management towards BSNL Recruits. Some people are trying to weaken you on behest of the some sponsored group but you have to be very cautious. Friends, it is very important to see that voice and strength of AIGETOA remains intact else no one is bothered for you in this department even for your entitled benefits.

GS Letter to Dir HR regarding Health Insurance Scheme for BSNL Executives & Employees – Formation of Committee

AIGETOA appreciated the decision of the management to form the Committee for the Health Insurance Policy for BSNL Employees but also cautioned the management about its scope and mandate. The association told that it will be too early to comment on the formation of committee without having in depth information about scope and mandate of the committee but we find it apt to remind management that providing health care is duty of Employer and throwing it on the heads of Employees will not be accepted under any circumstances.

AIGETOA is firm in this regard and will not allow any tinkering in the responsibilities of the health provisions by BSNL. So, any Health Insurance Policy initiated by the department for executives and employees must be borne by the BSNL.
