GS AIGETOA write to Director HR, sought complete financial details of expenditure incurred by the Administration Section, BSNL Corporate Office for the periods 01.03.2022 to 14.07.2024 and 15.07.2024 to 16.09.2026.
The Association has sought details covering vehicles, functions and meetings, food and catering, vendors, bills, sanctions, payments and other related expenditure.
AIGETOA has emphasized that while employees are repeatedly advised to follow austerity measures even for essential operational expenditure, the same principle of financial discipline and austerity must apply equally to the Management. Transparency in administrative expenditure is therefore essential to ensure accountability and responsible utilization of BSNL resources.
The Association has requested the complete details at the earliest and stated if not provided, the matter will be escalated before the appropriate higher authorities.
