Team AIGETOA Kolkata on 24th July 2025 along with JS(E) and CS WBTC met Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal His Excellency Dr. C V Ananda Bose at Raj Bhavan, Kolkata. The team greeted with a flower bouquet, a shawl and a book.

After a brief introduction, the team submitted a memorandum containing the long pending HR issues of BSNL executives. After that, a detailed discussion took place over our HR issues which lasted for more than 20 mins.

Hon’ble Governor was very keen to know about these HR issues and sought further information with respect to the HR policies and our pay related matters.

After learning the whole situation, he commented, “…the matter has a serious concern and need to address soon…”. His Excellency personally assured us, he’ll write a D.O. to the Hon’ble Minister of Communication.

After the above discussion, our team requested His Excellency to request the Govt. of West Bengal to use BSNL service as per the mandatory utilization policy of GoI. He instantly directed his ADC to act over this.

The meeting ended with a sense of accomplishment and forward momentum.
