Beta Launch of BSNL 4G Indigenous Services from Amritsar, Punjab –

Today, CMD BSNL and Director CM in august presence of CGMT Punjab and BA heads inaugurated Beta launch of Indigenous 4G Services from Amritsar, Punjab.

Team AIGETOA was also present on this occasion on invitation from O/o CGMT Punjab. On this great occasion we welcomed and greeted CMD BSNL and Director CM with bouquet of flowers, shawl and a mememto.

Today BSNL has made beta launched of make in India completely Swadeshi 200 BTS sites in Amritsar, Pathankot and Ferozepur districts of Punjab Circle.

We congratulate one and all on the beta launch of 4G.

A pride moment for AIGETOA has occurred on 12th July 2023 in Pune. Good work done by AIGETOA and its inclusive approach has been appreciated by one and all. The approach of AIGETOA and it’s working is being accepted not only by executives but also the senior leaders across the associations in BSNL.

Conference at Pune is testimony of this fact, where very senior, experienced, stalwart leaders of two major association have shown their allegiance to the AIGETOA In presence of GS Shri Ravi Shil Verma and Patron in Chief Shri A A Khan. Leaders who opted membership of AIGETOA are :

They have praised the AIGETOA leadership for its Maturity, temperament, and fighting spirit shown by them while dealing with various issue of paramount importance for the welfare of executives in BSNL. They were of the firm view that AIGETOA is the only association which has the capability to get the Standard Pay Scales, Pay Loss Issues and 3rd PRC implemented in BSNL.

They also exposed the hollowness in the leadership of other association who don’t have the will to question management and their approach is to create division in Executives.

GS Ravi Shil Verma expressed his gratitude to the leaders for showing belief in AIGETOA and expressed confidence that the vast experience of these leaders will definitely give greater force to AIGETOA in resolution of long pending HR issues. He expressed surprise, how the other association failed to recognize and utilize this experience. He was also of the view that they are creating division not only in Executives but in their own association where they are disowning the legacy and experience of their own association in the name of version upgrade 2.0. He said that any leadership which doesn’t owns its own legacy will never own the responsibility of resolving the issues, will again try to find the excuses and finally will lead the executive a back to pre 2020 era of despair, dejection and demotivation. He further said AIGETOA is an association which owns not only the credit for success but also the responsibility of failures.

Friends it’s high time to realize the fact that we have miles to go, this is just beginning of new era of development, prosperity of BSNL and its executives. He further elaborated upon the future action plan of AIGETOA with respect to the pending issues, significance of BMS in taking the voice of BSNL Executives to the highest Echelons and requested that the positive change which has begun in BSNL after AIGETOA becoming MA should not be allowed to be drifted away. He requested one and all to Join AIGETOA.

OTP Cases of Karnataka Circle Issued with Herculean Efforts of AIGETOA :

Dear Friends from Karnataka,

We know the delay in consideration of your OTP applications has demoralised you all like anything as your family life was getting disturbed out of this.

We sincerely apologise for the delay but we kept on pursuing and finally we managed to clear almost all cases which were received by us.

AIGETOA always believes in impartial approach and accordingly we pressed for taking a policy approach and we hope that members of other associations will also appreciate our approach.

Remember, one of the torch bearers of other association was misguiding all that no transfers will take place. Their so called 2.0 version needs many such upgrades so that Perseverance, Courage and Conviction is developed to resolve the issues instead of telling that issue is impossible.

The Pay Scale Committee was formed by AIGETOA CHQ in June 2022 to address the issue of standard pay scale and pay loss for BSNL executives who were recruited or promoted after 01.01.2007. The committee worked independently and explored all possible ways to resolve this issue in addition to the ongoing efforts of AIGETOA in various courts and with the government. The main objectives of the committee were to:

Review the current status and history of standard pay scale and pay loss issue for BSNL executives.

Identify and evaluate various options and alternatives for settling this issue.

Recommend a feasible and optimal solution for achieving standard pay scale E2-E3 for BSNL executives.

The committee conducted its research and analysis using various sources of data, such as official documents from BSNL and DoT, reports from other associations and unions, court judgments and orders, media articles and reports, and feedback from BSNL executives. The committee also used various tools and techniques to analyze the data, such as SWOT analysis, cost-benefit analysis, stakeholder analysis, and scenario analysis.

The main findings of the committee are:

  • Standard pay scale E2-E3 is a legitimate right of BSNL executives who joined after 01.01.2007.
  • Non-settlement of standard pay scale E2-E3 has caused variable initial basics and pay loss for BSNL executives.
  • Non-settlement of standard pay scale E2-E3 will have adverse impacts on the career progression and pension benefits of BSNL executives.
  • Pensionary contribution is no longer a major hurdle for settling standard pay scale E2-E3 after VRS.
  • DoT is the main authority for approving standard pay scale E2-E3 for BSNL executives.
  • BMS affiliation has created a new opportunity for representing this issue at the government level.
  • AIGETOA is the only association that is sincerely and actively pursuing this issue.

The main conclusions of the committee were:

  • Standard pay scale E2-E3 should be settled before implementation of 3rd PRC in BSNL.
  • Standard pay scale E2-E3 should be implemented w.e.f. 01.01.2007 without cascading effect of other scales.
  • Standard pay scale E2-E3 should be implemented across the board irrespective of the stream or batch of joining.
  • AIGETOA should intensify its legal and organizational efforts to achieve standard pay scale E2-E3.
  • AIGETOA should leverage its BMS affiliation to influence DoT and government to approve standard pay scale E2-E3.
  • AIGETOA should mobilize and unite all BSNL executives under its banner to support this cause.
  • The committee hopes that this report will help AIGETOA in its struggle for standard pay scale and pay loss issue and will contribute to the welfare of BSNL executives and BSNL.
