AIGETOA pointed out that several important issues earlier raised with the management remain unresolved despite repeated assurances. The association noted that many matters involving minimal or no financial implications are still pending, causing unnecessary difficulties for executives.

The association also expressed concern over the continued posting of officers in sensitive positions for prolonged periods. It was highlighted that the DGM (Admin) under PGM (Admin) continues to hold a sensitive position while simultaneously functioning as Protocol Officer, which raises questions regarding adherence to norms governing postings in sensitive roles.

Further, AIGETOA drew attention to the inconsistency in administrative practices where, on one hand, officers reportedly recommended for major charge-sheet in corruption related cases are continuing in sensitive positions, while on the other hand many executives across the organization are transferred even on minor show-cause notices or minor disciplinary proceedings.

The association also reiterated its concern regarding officials in the HR group (Pers/Est/Admin etc.) continuing in the same sections for more than prescribed period without being included in rotational transfer lists, while executives from other wings are being transferred across verticals. Such disparity raises questions on fairness and transparency in the process.

AIGETOA has requested the CMD BSNL to personally intervene and initiate corrective measures, including review of the functioning of the concerned vertical, compliance with CVC guidelines on tenure in sensitive posts, and ensuring uniform administrative standards across the organization. We sought a vigilance enquiry into the circumstances leading to such violations and preferential treatment.
