Team AIGETOA on 08.10.2024 met Hon’ble Chief Minister AP Shri N Chandrababu Naidu and requested for his kind help in resolving the long pending issues of BSNL employees. AIGETOA submitted a memorandum to Hon’ble CM AP seeking his kind intervention with Hon’ble PM and Hon’ble MoC in directing BSNL and DoT for settling the issues of 3rd PRC, Standard Pay Scales of E2 for JTO/JAO Equivalent, Pay Loss issues, 30 percent SAB, Promotion issues and other issues like revision in Transport Allowance, TA/DA etc. It was highlighted that the case of BSNL employees are more or less similar to similar to the AP Road Transport Corporation’s employees issues where RTC (Road Transport Corporation) is state owned Corporation and which used to be in losses due to rural BUS services. Their issues have been resolved without seeing the profitability, the same criteria needs to be adopted for BSNL also.

Hon’ble CM AP assured to look into the issues and told to discuss with the MoSC & Hon’ble MoC and after taking the feedback, the same shall be escalated to Hon’ble PM.

He also assured to have another round of meeting after discussing with Hon’ble MoSC. The appointment in this regard shall be conveyed soon.
