Why some associations cry instead of conquering their birth rights ???

 

 

Dear friends, past we have witnessed and victimized unprofessional HR functions of largest public sector in India it is nothing but mockery for its own executives. Some learned and cultured leaders is just trying to beg something by appeasing the bureaucrats. BSNL Management is still learning HR practices by hit and trail basis at the cost of the company. Guest dominated BSNL Management is sometimes notifying MT at E-4, sometimes Marketing and Sales Executives at E2 and sometimes DGM at E-5 just to recruit some loyal external candidates without going into the merits and some learned and cultured leaders of  associations  always beg some junk of it for their own executives without any vision how this will affect their members.

 

It is really hurting for all the executives that we are begging for our legitimate and owners rights, crying for the relaxations  in DGM recruitment, some times up to E3 and some times up to E2 may be tomorrow up to E1( because majority of one association members in E1).

 

 

If BSNL management appreciates one engineer/Account Professional working in other PSUs and private Sectors by making them eligible for DGM only in 12 years of service without having any experience in telecom then why the learned and cultured leaders are not giving fitting reaction to the management for insulting and undermining  their own members ? We know we are not affected much with this recruitment of DGM but those who gave their youth and blood and absorbed in the BSNL don't they deserve to be DGM of their own company?

 

By begging for relaxation by learned and cultured leaders, only few executives may be eligible to apply for the post of DGM and 1 or 2 may qualify in the examination on the mercy of the management but what about others? Management skill always comes from experience with minimum required qualification to understand the terminology of the management. One examination can not be the criteria to judge the management skills and make the executives to jump from E2 to E5 while other remains at E2. if we want to be perfect manager we should gradually learn the skills and responsibilities of every level by progressing timely to the next level and it is the moral responsibility of the management to upgrade it’s own executives rather preferring external candidate by ignoring and insulting committed souls of the organization.

 

Since the formation of BSNL, post of CMD and Directors was always occupied by internal ITS officers despite it is open to all, only because the incumbent is from the same organization and has rich experience in Telecom domain  the same preferred to occupy the top post of the organization. But we the executives are not even eligible for the proposed DGM only because we are working in BSNL. It is not only the insult of existing executives but our beloved company.  None of the best experienced external engineer and account professional wish to join in BSNL at the prestigious post like DGM. Where as similarly qualified internal executives are compelled to work at E1 or E2. In this situation, the judgment of management is quite illogical.

 

It seems that some learned and cultured leaders of executive associations are putting their best efforts and feeling happy to get regularize some of the adhoc STS at the end of their career and ready to compromise every thing  not feeling shameful on begging for the birth rights. We suggest such learned and cultured leaders to learn from the ITS officers how they maintain their virtual reservation for the post of CMD, Directors though it was open to market.

 

Beside end of the ITS RAJ, AIGETOA is demanding that every executive must be promoted with time bound manner like other PSUs according to their performance, experience and qualification,  why should we face such shameful situation of begging for relaxation. Every qualified engineers and account professionals must be promoted to E4 in 9 years of service so that he can have 3 years of experience at E4 grade after completing 12 years of service.

 

 

Regarding the career progression of executives in BSNL AIGETOA has very fair and justified views:

 

 

Management has already agreed our demands regarding the career progression of executives with condition that other executives associations must have no objections. It is really difficult to understand and convince other executives associations  in this aspect and puzzled why  they are not agreeing an advantageous scheme for all and well being of the company.

 

It is very fair and open to appeal to all the executives to come forward with AIGETOA and help us to achieve the dignity and respect for every executives of BSNL.

 

Miracle does not happen every time, destiny does not knock door frequently.

 

It is time for all  to get together to end the ITS Raj. All the executives can proudly say  that we are the part of the management; we are not bounded labor of sarkari  bureaucrats. 18th August will prove our strength towards the revolution for freedom from Sarkari work culture. All must move Delhi forOperation Sacrifice: Death before Dishonorwithout having any confusion and fear in mind. This is our last and final battle towards the welfare of executives.
