What to do next?
Although
AIGETOA is fighting to adopt contemporary corporate policy in BSNL and promote
all the executives in time bound manner based on performance to avoid all these
anomalies and to create performance oriented work culture in the best interest
of the company but in due course of time it will be also ensured that no
promotion would take place violating DoPT guideline. If promotion would be
done as per the DoPT guideline almost 10,000 so called JTO will be junior to
direct recruits. In this way, all batches 2001/2002 and 2005 will get promotion to SDE
cadre through promotion quota itself.
18th August is the anniversary of start of “Operation Sacrifice” of AIGETOA.
In last one year, we have tried our level best to resolve various issues in
respect of direct recruit executives in very amicable atmosphere but it is
unfortunate that BSNL management does not understand the language of healthy
discussion and nothing concrete has been done to resolve the issues. AIGETOA CHQ
has written three request letters during last two months seeking agenda meeting with BSNL management but all
in vain. Now, we have to develop similar
momentum as of “Operation Sacrifice” if, the need arise.
The best way to celebrate the anniversary of “Operation Sacrifice” and to
develop the momentum for next fight is to start with healthy discussion at base
level. AIGETOA has decided one common day i.e. 18th August 2010 for meeting with
local management in all part of the country.

Under which guideline/interpretation, seniority of JTOs appointed after Oct 2000 have been fixed?
Whether Circle Management is going to review the seniority of JTOs as per the DoPT guideline

Try to find the answer of following questions from SSA management:
How many times salary deduction was implemented after formation of BSNL against agitation of unions and association?
why discriminatory action is being taken against most qualified and hard working direct recruited executives?
Whether SSA head is ready to refund the salary deducted against the agitation of AIGETOA or ready to deduct the salary of other association/union for their agitation period?

Note: It is not important to get result of the meeting but meeting is most
important write down the reply given by the management. Meeting must be done on
18th August 2010 in entire part of the country. Only on unavoidable circumstance
meeting may be done any day between 18th to 22nd August 2010.
