Standard IDA pay scale and Separate cadre for the Direct Recruit Executives

 

In advertise of our recruitment it was clearly mentioned regarding the pay scale that “the post of JTO is presently in central Govt. Pay scale Rs. 6500-200-10500 pm which is likely to be revised to equivalent IDA pay scale

            You can see BSNL has introduced first two pay scales which are not as per standard IDA pay scale while our sister concern MTNL along with all CPSUs follow the standard IDA pay scale. Even MTNL recruits, engineers and management trainee at E-2 level with pay scale 10750-300-16750. Aforesaid pay scale of BSNL is totally compromised pay scale with the pension facility, which we are not getting. We have been recruited without disclosing the career path and IDA pay scale with five years of service bond and toughest all India competition with IES syllabus screened by top institute IIT and after that they cheated us and our aspiration under pressure of existing association.

 

We have been recruited as engineering graduate executive with the JTO recruitment rule 2001 of BSNL but after joining we found that we have been made subordinate of non-executive employees who are not even eligible as per the recruitment rule. This is again under pressure of existing associations. At the time of DOT, engineering qualification was compensated by seven additional increments in the JTO cadre but after BSNL engineers are getting less scale in terms of pension. In the nineties, DOT itself has privileged to diploma holder over non-diploma for promotion to TTA after long fight of 55 days.  

 

As BSNL itself, had committed to give equivalent IDA pay scale for the Direct Recruits so we must be provided with the standard IDA scale along with the separate cadre else be ready once again to fight in the similar line of action as diploma holder.
