AIGETOA DHARNA 1st Dec 2008 : Latest Development and Future Action

GS, Shri R.P. Shahu had received the call from DDG (SR) on 24/11/2008 at 18:00 hrs and invited for discussion with Management but GS had refused to meet on "any verbal call" and demanded  held in abeyance for MT notification before any such discussion but now the management has invited us in written, so we will have to attend the meet. We will not make any compromise till the resolution of our issues. While 3-5 members can meet with the management but all the CS/CP and CHQ members who feel comfortable, should come at Delhi on 28/11/2008 by 11:00 am that will also be useful for the preparation of Dharna.

Dear friends, remember our first demand is to stop the MT above already existing qualified engineers and account officers along with our status and career progression at par with similarly located CPSUs. So be ready and mobilize all the DRJTOs/DRJAOs along with other professionally qualified executives to fight up till the last breath to stop the MT above existing young and experienced engineers and account officers.

I, once again appeal that; do not wait for the result of meeting and please make every member to book on sided ticket for Dharna.

CHQ have received the confirmation of almost 3805 executives till date, who are participating in Dharna on 1st Dec 2008 at corporate office from the entire part of the country, which is not at all the satisfactory figure because we are almost 12000 including DRJAOs and other engineers. Field units are requested to encourage each and every member and tell him the importance of his participation and increase this figure up to 8000 to 10000.

Please come with full preparation, till the resolution of our demands. Do not think that matter will be resolved in single day so come by making full arrangements. All the members are also requested to bring one "slogan-board" with one slogan written on it, with them in the Dharna.

We are trying to arrange accommodation so that all can stay at same place but be prepared to arrange yourself in "Pahadganj Area" of New Delhi, if we cant. Dharna will start at 10:00 am so come with heavy break fast we will arrange water and tea over there as arrangement of lunch for such big crowd is not possible, though we are trying.

We are receiving some quarries from field about lady executives, it is being clarified here that all the lady executives must attend Dharna for at least one day on 1st Dec 2008 if having not much problems. If dharna remains continue for next day ladies executive can return back but no one will attend the office till the end of agitation.
