DGM Recruitment : An abuse & disregard to the BSNL in-house talents by BSNL Mangement

Despite of repeated request and representation with complete justification, BSNL management has not considered our plea and moved ahead to recruit the DGM from outside debarring qualified executives of BSNL who are having intensive training and vast experience in operations and finance in the field of telecommunications. The online application is open from 20th Nov to 7th-Dec-2012.


As we know executives working in PSU and Government Sector with 12 years of experience (3 years at E4) are definitely getting more then Rs. 45000/- as basic pay and BSNL has denied the pay protection. In this situation no one will apply/join from PSUs and government sectors. Moreover Engineers and Account professionals working in reputed private sectors with 12 years of experience are definitely getting more than 20 to 25 lakhs per annum, so no one will prefer to join BSNL hardly on package of Rs 10 lakhs. In this way Management has preferred to recruit engineers and account professionals from any unnoticed private companies with turnover of Rs 100 Cr having no experience in Telecom domain but BSNL executives who even fulfills all the eligibility criteria as of candidates working in private sectors, are debarred just because they are working in BSNL which is having turnover of Rs 30,000 Cr and not in private companies.

Anyway management has tried to show it’s power and not the justified approach. Now it is our turn to react over such discriminative and abusing recruitment. This association is very much committed to fight against such open injustice to the members. We will not stop the examination which may be in the mind of management but we will fight to get our eligibility to appear in the said examination. This association is trying it’s level best to have some amicable solution but at the same time we should ensure that we are ready to sacrifice any thing in the war of justice. Come what may, we will not tolerate such injustice which is nothing less than an abuse and disregard to our talent and qualification seeing such an advertisement of DGM recruitment, it appears that management has become devoid of mindful thinking and are in strong need of some consultation and counseling. These people are working whole heartedly to impart demotivation and dissatisfaction amongst its own set of employees who holds the key to the future and survival of our beloved company for the reasons best known to them. Let us all pray together to the god for the BSNL Management and say:
