Complete Corporate culture and career progression at par with similarly placed CPSUs.
We have been recruited in BSNL i.e. PSU and it has passed more then 8 years but we have to face some times DOT and some times BSNL ruling and policies subjected to most harmful for us. Nothing can be more ridicule than this that we are being treated just like “Dhobi Ka Kutta na Ghar Ka Na Ghat Ka” despite we have been recruited in corporate. Our third promotion must have been due by this time as per the corporate career progression but we are still working at same position even we have been compelled to appear in the examination for our very first promotion despite this fact that we have already qualified all India examination covering vast syllabus (nothing but copy of IES). Content of examination and trustworthiness of LDCE was not at all comparable with GE-JTO examination. Management can explain it by one or other ways but every one knows that, who have not qualified the LDCE of TES Group- B examination does not mean that, they don’t have talent. In real sense they were not interested to follow such career progression. If same career progression would be continue the days are not far when most of the talented employees will refuse to take the promotion because limited scope to reach the top level and feel more comfort to work at JTOs without any financial loss. The basic motto to convert govt. department into company does not fulfill with such career progression.
BSNL management must give top priority to adopt complete corporate culture and career progression at par with similarly placed CPSUs for the better survival of the organization.
