Details of Corporate office, New Delhi visit of GS, Shri R P Shahu and President, Shri N Shilohu Rao for period 4th May '09 to 8th May '09

Meeting with CPFC, New Delhi :

GS and President met CPFC explained the whole development in BSNL in respect of EPF and appealed to take strong action against BSNL who is continuously dishonoring the orders of CPFC and various RPFCs. He was very much surprised that how any Government department can do such an illegal act. He assured us that his office is very much concern about the grievances of the employees and instructed the concerned officer to immediate look into the matter. All the members are requested to please be in touch with your RPFC and make a individual written complaint for the grievances, if you have not made earlier.

 

Meeting with Shri R K Batra, PGM (IR) & Chairman of Committee :

GS and President met chairman of the committee, PGM (IR) Shri R K Batra and discussed about the development of the committee with respect to our charter of demands. He said that committee is in regular meet regarding the issue but it has not been concluded so far and it will take some more time as BCG (Boston Consultancy Group) is also working in this direction.

 

Meeting with Shri D P De, GM (Establishment) :

GS and President met GM (Establishment) Shri D P De regarding the pay anomalies of 2005 batch. He said that comment asked by the management has already been sent from his end. He also clarified that executives who appointed after 01.01.2007 are not entitled for the fitment as per the existing DPE guideline but in case of BSNL recruits GE-JTOs 2005 who have been recruited before but joined after 01.01.2007 due to delay in BSNL part can or can not be considered by the BSNL board. BSNL board has to take decision in this regard. Although gesture of the middle management (unabsorbed ITS officers) is totally negative but we have to wait for some more time as BSNL management has already initiated the process. In any case, if this issue will not be resolved amicably all the members who have already got first installment of PRC arrears must ready to refuse their second installment in support of the justice. Meeting with Shri R K Mishra, GM (Personnel) :

GM (Pers) Shri R K Mishra addressed the aggrieved gathering at corporate office due to various anomalies in transfer cases. Many genuine members are deprived by the transfer due to unnecessary involvement of associations in the transfer matter. Mass also demanded that transfer policy should be very much transparent and one should not take undue advantage and not to deprived from the same. He assured us to re-examine the request of the executives and after Director (HRD) joins his office on 11-05-2009 & all the genuine cases will be considered for which CMD and Director (HRD) has already assured.

 

Meeting with Shri Shakheel Ahamed, GM (SR) :

GS and President met GM (SR) as he wanted to know the position of AIGETOA regarding the career progression and HR issue in respect of executives. GS and President have given detail view of AIGETOA and asked to arrange the whole board meeting so that we can give power point presentation regarding the same. He assured that he will intimate after discussion with director (HRD).
