Approach of BSNL Apex on DGM Recruitment :  "Is nothing but abuse and provocation for BSNL Executives..."


GS along with AGS Shri Amit Roy and AFS Shri Rajendra Singh met CMD BSNL on 26th Sept 2012 and submitted suggestions in regard to the vacation of stay on promotion and posting order of LDCE qualified candidates. Hon'ble CMD immediately called the concerned authority dealing with the case and instructed to incorporate our suggestions and emphasized to give top priority to the same.

Discussion on proposed DGM recruitment was also held and GS requested to proceed with the internal recruitment or at least allow the internal candidates to appear in the examination. Unfortunately CMD even after recognizing our legitimate demand was completely negative on this issue and replied in a manner which was not at all expected from a professional management.

It was quite apparent from the approach of Hon'ble CMD that if we can be eligible for DGM recruitment by going out of the company then we should leave the company and then apply. Such type of reply from the chief executive of the company who instead of acting as a responsible parent by nurturing and promoting the talent of the internal executives of the company, is asking its children to leave the house so that any Tom, Dick and Harry but not the rightful occupants can be accommodated inside the house. Though this is nothing but abuse and provocation for us, still being a responsible association, we are of the belief that management will realize our deep anger, agony and frustration arising out of this discriminating attitude from their side and hence we will keep on raising our legitimate voices and try our best to avoid the possible and imminent unrest occurring due to this step motherly attitude of the management. This association is still committed to resolve the issue with mutual negotiation in the best interest of the members as well as our beloved company and hopes that CMD will definitely recognize our legitimate demand and realize his unprofessional reply and take the corrective action. But at the same time, we also request management to not to undermine the restraint shown by us and consider that as our weakness. We are ready to go to any extent now and are not willing to take this abuse any more. We once again request our hon'ble CMD and management to take our demand in right earnest and do the needful to avoid any unpleasant situation and its possible implications.
