Circle Conference cum Annual General Body Meet of AIGETOA, Delhi Corporate Office

The Circle Conference of AIGETOA, Delhi Chapter started at 12.30 AM at CTO Sabhagar Auditorium, New Delhi. More Than hundred members from BSNL Corporate office and different offices of NTR have attended the house. The event was inaugurated by presenting beautiful garland and bunches of flowers to all the dignitaries Shri Ravi Shil Verma, General Secretary & Shri Amit Roy, AGS, Shri Mantosh Kumar, VP, Shri Rajender Kumar, Auditor, Shri Darvesh Mavi, Ex- Circle President, Shri DPS Chawla, Ex- Circle secretary And Shri Bhupendra Kumar, Independent observer.

CS- In charge, Shri Shubhedu Sharma expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble guests for their gracious presence in the event despite busy schedule for ongoing agitation programme. It is apprised to the house that this gathering is called to elect new circle bodies for AIGETOA Delhi Chapter and AIGETOA NTR Chapter as per CHQ mandate and house has agreed for the same. He welcomed all dignitaries, Circle/District office bearers & members requested the dignitaries to motivate the young officers for ongoing protest.  

Shri Mantosh Kumar, VP AIGETOA in his speech emphasized on the importance of the participation of general members and expressed that office bearers of association are elected only for functional conveniences, not to maintain hierarchy. Every member should take the charge as per the needs and instructions to create synergy with the office bearers.

Shri Amit Roy, AGS AIGETOA in his addressing focused on the agreement dated 8^th August, 2013 wherein our fundamental entitlements were accepted by the management. He delivered a very energetic and motivational speech on the ongoing issues and appealed to all the members to spend one/two hours for association during ongoing protest. He insisted that if every member will have the in depth knowledge about our demands then resentment will come on surface automatically and general members will be able to explore innovative and effective ways to show their protest.

Shri Ravi Shil Verma, General Secretary appraised the house about the developments on the issues till date in detail. He explained that CHQ has left no stone unturned in persuasion of issues with the management but they have challenged DR fraternity as they have taken us granted for exploitation. He disclosed how BSNL management is preparing policies on futuristic hypothetical data of no basis ignoring DPE/Government recommendations. He insisted that at this juncture we are forced to go on agitation and we have to prove our unity and solidarity.

After the speeches of dignitaries there was lunch break of 15 minutes and the house re-assembled again at 2:00 PM General body elections for AIGETOA Delhi and NTR Chapter were the main events.

The election of new governing body for AIGETOA Delhi and NTR chapter were carried out under the supervision of Shri Amit Roy, Asst. General Secretary-CHQ. Shri Anand Kumar and Smt. Roopmala have been unanimously elected as Circle Secretary and Circle President of AIGETOA Delhi Chapter.

Shri Manish Kumar and Shri Vivek Bharti have been unanimously elected as Circle Secretary and Circle President of AIGETOA NTR Chapter.
